Euroclio: The European Standing Conference of History Teachers' Associations

Encouraged by the Council of Europe in 1991, the representatives of national and regional associations for teachers of History in Europe established a new association, which was officially launched in April 21, 1993 : EUROCLIO, The European Standing Conference of History Teachers' Associations. Acknowledged as a Non-Governmental Organisation by the Council of Europe, EUROCLIO unites its members, the History Teachers' Associations. Nowadays EUROCLIO represents about 65.000 history teachers in more than 40 countries. This web site offers information about current projects and activities, conferences, and future plans. Also available are teaching materials, articles, a forum, and a links section.
